Well, as exciting as being unemployed and living in a van by Utah Lake sounds, I will have to postpone any such plans at least for the next year.
And why is that? you may be wondering. Well, I'll tell you.
You may have heard of a little magazine called Highlights (Yes, the one in every doctor's office):
Well, for the next year I will be working diligently at their magazine as their (paid!) intern!
I report to Honesdale, Pennsylvania, next month (exact date still to be determined).
AAAHH!!!! I am so excited. It's a dream come true! I am so ready for an adventure.
Also, I'll be working in an 1860's mansion. Uh, what? Yeah, you heard me. It is that awesome.
I'm so sad you won't be living in my basement. LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteHooray! Congrats! I am so so so excited for you :)
ReplyDeleteHey, while you're there, see if you can get my story published that they bought a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteWoot! That is all kinds of awesome! (Except that PA is far from AZ...) Off to GoogleMaps Honesdale, PA now!
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE LOVE LOVE Highlights magazine! What a great opportunity!
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome! Annie i am proud to have my cousin working for Highlights and so happy for you to have this opportunity!
ReplyDeleteHighlights? Never heard of it. Congratulations, I guess.
ReplyDeleteJust kidding. Way to go! You'll do great.
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting, Annie! Congratulations! You're having so many good editing experiences! Can't wait to hear how it goes =)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I'm so excited for you - a paid internship, at a magazine you want to work for, is so much better than "do you want fries with that?"
ReplyDelete(And apparently there is a yarn store in Honesdale - so it must be an okay place!)
Holy flip. You're pretty much amazing.
ReplyDeleteStill sooooooooooooooooooo excited.
ReplyDeleteOh my!!! Annie I don't know how I missed this post before! Holy cow. This is like perfect. You are perfect. I am SOO excited for you! You must keep me updated!
